Nathaniel practises predominantly in administrative law, commercial litigation, constitutional law, electoral law, human rights and regulatory law.

Nathaniel was admitted as a lawyer in 2017 and spent seven years at Crown Law Queensland. This included a short period as an employed barrister immediately prior to his call to the private Bar in April 2025.

Nathaniel has regularly appeared as an advocate in a range of Courts and Tribunals, including the Federal Court, Supreme Court of Queensland, and the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal. He has appeared in matters including applications for merits review, interlocutory relief, and applications for review under the Judicial Review Act 1991 (Qld).
