Lachlan predominately practices in all aspects of Public law, Employment and Industrial Law and Human Rights law – with a particular interest in statutory interpretation.

Prior to the Private Bar, Lachlan was employed in Crown Law’s Public Law Branch, beginning as a graduate and progressing to Senior Principal Lawyer and employed Barrister. Lachlan’s focus was on complex industrial litigation and providing statutory interpretation and public law advice to State Government Departments.

In 2015, Lachlan was associate to his Honour Judge Horneman-Wren SC of the Queensland District Court and then Deputy-President of the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
